Colin and Islanders play Rangers tonight/January 29th
For tens of hundreds of years fisherman, sailors and travelers of the globe searched the horizon for the blink of a light to find their way home to loved ones and … their safe harbor.
In stormy weather and dark nights Boston light, Menemsha light, Sullivan’s Island Light in Charleston, South Carolina Cape Henry in Norfolk, Virginia and of course….Gurnet Light brought the weary worker and traveler safely home.
Lighthouse lights were lovingly kept aglow, filled with oil and lenses kept sharp by ….the Lighthouse Keeper…
Our Lighthouse Keeper’s’ Light, Phyllis’ glow….drew HER loved ones to HER safe harbor…
So for a moment let us waltz with Phyllis…..as we pass Phyllis to her….safe harbor…
